  •  Listed as the No. 1 most effective agency in Sri Lanka; the No. 1 most effective independent agency for telecommunications in APAC; the No. 2 most effective independent agency in APAC and among 10 most effective independent agency globally
Response débuted the global rankings in 2011 earning the incredible honour of being listed together with BWM Sydney as the 5th most effective independent agency in the world. “Today we are listed together with the likes of Taproot, Sistole & Wieden and Kennedy and we are thrilled to bits and find it impossible to believe that our agency would even be spoken of in the same sentence as creative demi-gods Taproot India who appear in the 2013 rankings with us,” says Alyna Haji Omar CEO and Creative Chief of Response. Last week Response celebrated their 14th Effie in just six years, 13 of which were awarded for its work on Etisalat with the other for Johnsons Baby. The agency leads the pack as the number one most effective agency in Sri Lanka as listed in The Effie Effectiveness Index country-specific rankings for 2013 leaving behind all the network agency heavy weights. Response has helped usher Etisalat into the Global effectiveness ranking. The brand is listed as the 6th most effective telecommunication brand globally, 2nd most effective brand in APAC, 13th most effective brand across categories in the APAC region, and 27th most effective brand in the world. These rankings have been achieved almost entirely because of the awards won by the Sri Lanka office. The relationship between Etisalat Sri Lanka and Response Marketing has been nurtured over eight years and has become a true testament to the power of partnerships. “We are incredibly honoured to work with Etisalat – they have been the best clients ever,” said Omar as she accepted the final award of the night. After spending eight years making its mark on the national awards circuit, Response – a part of the Grant Group in Sri Lanka – has its sight set internationally. “We credit all our success to our people and our partners; clients, creative partners and contributing agencies have become brave and worthy friends who inspire us every day,” she added. Commenting on the inclusion of a Sri Lankan agency into the ranks of the most effective agencies globally, Neela Marikkar, Chairperson, Grant Group said: “This recognition is a testimony to the wealth of creative and strategic ingenuity that we have the privilege of working with everyday. We are proud of their achievements and believe that their best days are yet to come”
