Roshan Kaluarachchi conferred as Fellow, CIM, UK

Roshan Kaluarachchi was inducted as fellow, CIM UK at the recently concluded Chartered Institute of Marketing Sri Lanka Region’s Graduation Ceremony, Chartered Marketer and Membership Investiture 2013. Kaluarachchi holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (UK) and is a Chartered Marketer (UK). He is also a member of The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (MSLIM) and was conferred with the fellowship status (FCIM) by The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) for his immense contribution towards professional excellence in marketing, his experience coupled with his strong marketing background. He holds a Masters in Business Studies from the University of Colombo. He is a veteran in the field of Marketing with over 19 years of practice in the entire spectrum of marketing and sales management in both multinational and blue chip companies in Sri Lanka. He has exposure in marketing communications, distribution channel development and management, product development and management, communication channel management, market activation, market research, contact centre operations, brand management and sales. He has cross industry experience covering FMCG, consumer durables, telecommunications both fixed and mobile categories in Sri Lanka. Kaluarachchi is a member of the Panel of Judges for SLIM Brand Excellence Awards 2013.  He is currently the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Sri Lanka Telecom. Educated at Royal College Colombo, Kaluarachchi makes his alma mater proud with his achievements made thus far. As an active sportsman, Kaluarachchi represented the college tennis team and currently plays club tennis representing the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC). He also exalted in archery and rifle shooting by winning gold medals at the National Championships.
