Seven top awards at SLIM NASCO for Elephant House Beverages Sales Team

The versatile go-getters of the Elephant House Beverages Sales Team once again showed what they were truly made of, bagging multiple awards, including top accolade, Most Outstanding Sales Executive of the Year (All), at the recently concluded Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM)-run 15th National Sales Congress of Sri Lanka (NASCO), the only country-wide event recognising the uniqueness and hard work of local sales personnel.8

Winning one of the biggest awards of the night for the Elephant House Beverages Sales Team was Gnanasooriyam Dhuwaarathan, who received the highly sought-after Most Outstanding Sales Executive of the Year (All) honours. Additionally, Dhuwaarathan was also recognised with Gold in the Sales Executive of the Year – FMCG Beverages category. 

Interestingly, the success of the Elephant House Beverages Sales Team was further enhanced with another of its members also being awarded in the same category, with Thusitha Wanigaratne winning a Bronze for Sales Executive of the Year – FMCG Beverages. 

Adding further bragging rights for the Elephant House Beverages Sales Team, Sujeewa Menikdiwela walked away with the coveted Gold in the Territory Manager of the Year –FMCG Beverages category.

Meanwhile, in a highly praiseworthy development, the Elephant House Beverages Sales Team members won three awards in the Front Liner of the Year – FMCG Beverages category, with W.H.U. Priyankara Wijesooriya awarded Silver, while Manoj Kumaran and Mahesh Sooriyaratne were awarded Bronze.

Commenting on his sales team’s unprecedented success, Ceylon Cold Stores PLC Head of Beverages/John Keells Holdings Vice President Daminda Gamlath said, “These certificates of sales excellence were awarded by NASCO to six of our top sales people, for their extraordinary performance, determination to succeed and unwavering commitment to Elephant House Beverages, which will also undoubtedly contribute to raising the standards of sales professionalism in Sri Lanka.”
