Our objective is to take the project beyond the award show and ensure we emphasise the importance of research. “Awards are chosen based on a well-constructed nationwide survey that reveals a lot about the changing lifestyle of Sri Lankans and we wish to highlight these findings at the workshop. Over the years research has proven to support brands and organisations in developing successful strategies that have resulted in enormous value and volume growth, and improved bottom lines. “Our esteemed panel represents both public and private sector entities is well equipped with experiences and knowledge of the same and will channel it all to our audiences with the hope to increase awareness and stress the importance of research to tackle markets today. It further emphasises our aspiration to make 2015 SLIM-Nielsen Peoples Awards uniquely different to any other.” The workshop will be held on 4 November from 2 p.m. onwards at the Union Ballroom, Hilton Residencies.
