SLT Account Managers Ruwanthi Gamage (right) and Lakshitha Chathuranga receive their awards
Two officers of Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT) were recognised at the recently-held SLIM NASCO Awards. Organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), the NASCO Awards is being conducted for the 15th consecutive year with the aim of recognising and rewarding sales excellence at a national level.
Ruwanthi Gamage and Lakshitha Chathuranga, both Account Managers at Sri Lanka Telecom PLC (SLT) received recognition in the ‘Outstanding Frontline Performers’ category in the telecommunications industry. Ruwanthi Gamage received the Gold award while Lakshitha Chathuranga received the Bronze award under the above mentioned category and industry. Both of them are responsible for managing the key accounts of the company.
The National Sales Congress (NASCO) is the premier event in Sri Lanka that has been designed to recognise and reward the efforts and performance of sales personnel in organisations across the country. SLT personnel have continuously been recognised at these awards year after year.
The company continuously strives to enhance the SLT team and ensure that adequate opportunities are provided to the team to acquire new skills and enhance their competencies to raise the standards of performance within the company.
