Softlogic Information Technologies triumphs at SLIM-NASCO 2012

Softlogic Information Technologies, a premier IT company in Sri Lanka and a pioneering subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings Group, announced its recognition in the Industrial Category at National Sales Congress (NASCO) 2012.

Isuru Dasun Wijesekara received the only Silver Award in the Industrial Category – Front-liners at  NASCO 2012 which is the only national level event highlighting the contribution of the local sales fraternity, organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM).

Softlogic Information Technologies Director/CEO Roshan Rassool, upbeat about the achievement said: “We are proud that Isuru Wijesekara was selected as one of the best sales personal in the category of Industrial Goods. Wijesekara commented: “This award is no doubt another important milestone in my sales career and a victory for the whole of Softlogic Information Technologies. I would like to especially thank our management for nominating my performance for this occasion. The selection of the personnel’s was methodical. A written examination was held to select the most capable Sales personnel’s theoretically and a couple of face to face interviews were held to witness the practicality. It was really exciting at the final review to be interviewed by a panel of nine.”

A record breaking 200 plus entries were received from 10 industry verticals in the 12th consecutive version of SLIM-NASCO this year.

The awards ceremony included nominations from sectors such as, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), financial products and services, industrial, media, consumer durables, telecommunication, fashion/clothing, healthcare, A&T and travel and leisure. Companies were able to nominate territorial managers, sales executives/sales supervisors, and front-liners this year.
