Splendor gives new perspective to housing loan communications

The HNB Shanthi Housing loans campaign titled ‘Build the House that is on Your Mind,’ which is being currently aired, is a fresh new approach to the otherwise mundane approach to the category of housing loan advertising.

“The challenge we faced when approaching this brief was to create a campaign that is different to the usual advertising done for the category. When we analysed the advertising done over the years and after studying the target audience thoroughly, we discovered an insight that was so visible, but something that everyone misses because it is so obvious – the weight of the thought of not having a house and getting a housing loan does really weigh you down, discouraging you to actually go for a housing loan. We turned this insight into a total communications solution,” explained a spokesperson for Splendor Media.

Splendor Media has over the years created unique and insightful campaigns for their clients such as the ‘Korale Mahaththaya’ campaign for Apollo Hospital to portray Apollo as caring entity that welcomes everyone – A campaign that added a fresh new outlook to the hospital advertising category.
