Starcom wins media AOR for Singapore GP

SINGAPORE - Singapore GP, race promoter for the 2011 Singapore Formula One Grand Prix, has named Starcom Singapore as its media agency-of-record, ousting incumbent MEC.

The account was awarded following a three-way pitch.

Starcom will be responsible for promoting the Singapore Grand Prix to both regional markets across Asia and global audiences. ?



Sasha Rafi, assistant director of advertising and marketing, Singapore GP, attributed Starcom’s win to their innovative proposal and strong track record in the digital arena.

 “We aim to build upon the legacy of this famous event through groundbreaking work in online and offline channels, to connect local and international audiences with the exhilaration and adrenaline rush that this year’s race promises,” said Starcom Singapore general manager Arthur Sung.

The Formula One Singapore Grand Prix is currently in its fourth year.
