In competition with sales people from over 30 companies this year alone, Elephant House’s sales team members walked away with a Gold, for Elephant House Soft Drinks Regional Manager Deeptha Perera, and a Bronze, for Elephant House Ice Cream Regional Manager Neil Dissanayaka, both in the Best FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) Territory Manager category. In addition, Elephant House Ice Cream Sales Supervisor M.L.M Usham was recognised with a Silver in the Best FMCG Front-liner category.
Deeptha Perera was also adjudged ‘Most Outstanding Territorial Manager - Overall’, an achievement which elevated him above all other winners and identified him as the best sales person across all categories.
This year’s SLIM NASCO, the 12th edition, rewarded territorial managers, sales executive and sales supervisors, and front-liners in the categories of FMCG, financial products and services, industrial, media, consumer durables, fashion and clothing, healthcare, travel and leisure, and accounting and taxation. Participants were nominated by their companies, with each evaluated on the areas of performance and potential by a four-judge panel comprising some of Sri Lanka’s top corporate leaders.
