Twelve e-marketing experts to take the podium at ‘Optimising the Future 2011’

Learn best practices and hear industry experts share their experience on online marketing at ‘Optimising the Future 2011’ hosted by eMarketingEye (www.emarketingeye.com). Keynote speakers include representatives from Google, comScore, Preferred Hotel Group and eMarketingEye.



A pioneer in the field of search engine marketing, eMarketingEye proudly presents its second full day online marketing conference on 1 November at the Oak Room, Cinnamon Grand, Colombo.

Aimed to help Sri Lankan businesses utilise the internet as a more effective and efficient marketing and distribution channel, Optimising the Future 2011 will take a hands-on approach to online marketing discussing case studies, exploring best practices, analysing the latest trends and studying never before seen data on Asia Pacific.

Keynote speakers include James McCure; Emerging Marketing Development Manager from Google, Gap Kim; Marketing Manager South East Asia for Google, Rajitha Dahanayake; CEO of eMarketingEye, Joe Nguyen; Vice President (South East Asia), comScore Inc., Saurabh Rai Bhatnagar (Regional Director, India), Preferred Hotel Group, Hiran Jayasekara; General Manager of IT and e-Business, Aitken Spence Hotels and six other distinguished speakers.

The conference will be divided into two sessions at mid-day in order to present two separate tracks for the travel industry and other industry verticals. “While the internet buying cycle is relatively the same across all industries, the travel consumer demonstrates distinct variations that will be reviewed in detail,” eMarketingEye CEO Rajitha Dahanayake said.

Speaker presentations will be followed by panel discussions that will also give the audience a chance to question and express their own views.

 The topics of discussion will comprise contemporary and insightful subject matter such as Digital Marketing for Sri Lanka and Beyond, Revenue Management: Leveraging the Online medium, Social Media Marketing (with case studies) and Building an Online Marketing Platform for Your Business.

At the moment, 10 sessions have been scheduled. The conference is planned for 150 to 200 delegates and will be a full-day event.
