The Bank of Ceylon was once again recognised for its excellence in the sphere of Banking and Finance as one of the ‘Top 10 Most Admired Companies in Sri Lanka for 2022’ at the event organised by Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka (ICCSL), and Daily FT, to acknowledge and inspire Sri Lankan corporate citizens in their efforts to maintain good governance and sustainable financial performance.
Commenting on the award, General Manager Russel Fonseka stated, “BOC pragmatically follows the ethos of sustainable growth in every aspect of its operation, giving highest regard to the wellbeing of all stakeholders it is involved with. By incorporating the true essence of sustainability within our operation system we have covered all seventeen of SDG goals by now.
