Associated Motorways Ltd. (AMW) has widened its 24-hour breakdown service for Suzuki and Suzuki Maruti vehicles to minimise customer inconvenience.
The new initiative was unveiled recently at service headquarters in Rajagiriya, under the patronage of AMW Chairman and President – Automotive – Al-Futtaim Group Len Hunt, AMW President Tilak De Zoysa, Managing Director Samantha Rajapakse, Director Automotive Shivantha De Zoysa, General Manager Suzuki and Suzuki Maruti Virann De Zoysa and Head of Service Suzuki and Suzuki Maruti Service Operations Lahiru Chamara Silva.
The program, under the theme ‘We are here for you,’ is being co-ordinated by Head of Service Suzuki and Suzuki Maruti Service Operations Lahiru Silva.
As the first step of this program, the 24-hour program within the Colombo District will provide quick repairs, towing services, loading and transport of vehicles, and attending to vehicles at the point of breakdown.
This will include services such as flat tyre replacement with a spare wheel, fuel delivery at anytime and minor breakdown repairs such as belt replacements, bulb replacements, jump start, fluid topping-up etc.
As the second step, the service will be extended across AMW’s island-wide dealer network. As of January 2013, this service will be available in Anuradhapura, Kandy and Matara and Gampola via the single 24-hour hotline 0773043434.
“AMW’s goal is to provide an excellent service to our customers island-wide,” a spokesman said.
