Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC, the nation’s lubricant market leader, concluded its novel ‘Caltex Havoline Thegi Engima’ mega promotion on a high note with a record number of entries.
The ‘Caltex Havoline Thegi Engima’ consumer promotion sought to reward consumers who purchased selected motorcycle, scooter and passenger car oil products. In purchasing the oils, consumers not only protected their engines – the most valued asset in the vehicle – but were also guaranteed prize winners.

As the established industry leader, Caltex Havoline’s comprehensive range, including passenger car engine oils, motorcycle and scooter oils and other ancillary products, continue to deliver outstanding performance.
The Caltex Havoline Thegi Engima promotion received an overwhelming response. The prizes won by loyal Caltex Havoline consumers island-wide during the two-month promotional period was valued at Rs. 10 million in total. All purchases of the promotional packs were rewarded with guaranteed instant mobile reload; the promotion gave away Rs. 5 million worth of mobile re-loads across all mobile networks in Sri Lanka. In addition, two smart mobile phones were awarded daily and a brand-new Bajaj Discover 110cc motorcycle was awarded weekly. An astounding 120 smartphones and eight motorbikes were presented to the lucky winners during the promotional period of February and March 2019.

Public awareness for this unique competition was built through a number of channels – press, television, radio and social media platforms. The winning entries were selected electronically, under the supervision of the Department of Revenue, Western Provincial Council while all results were announced via television, press and the Caltex Sri Lanka Facebook page.
