Award-winning professional Chaaminda Kumarasiri has been appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the board of Sathosa Motors PLC, a member of the Access Group.

Kumarasiri is a Senior Chartered Accountant, Management Consultant, Business Advisor, and Corporate Trainer with a proven track record of holding senior leadership positions in prominent local entities and multinational companies.

He serves as a Director and Advisor to several leading organisations in both the private and public sectors. Currently, he serves as the chairman of the ACCA Sri Lanka Member Network Panel and sits on the governing boards of several academic and professional bodies.

Kumarasiri brings a wealth of professional and academic qualifications, along with numerous awards and medallions. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK), the Association of Accounting Technicians of Sri Lanka, and the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka. He holds a B.Sc. in Accountancy with first-class honours from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and an MBA in Finance from the University of Colombo. In 2022, he was honoured with the ACCA National Advocate of the Year Award for his outstanding commitment to promoting the accountancy profession and its values.
