Tata Motors, in partnership with its authorised distributor DIMO, has introduced the Tata Xenon Yodha in Sri Lanka.
The launch marks a significant development in the pick-up truck sector, aiming to set new benchmarks in performance, efficiency, and durability.
Designed to meet the rising demand for a versatile and reliable pick-up vehicle, the Tata Xenon Yodha is assembled locally at DIMO’s advanced facility in Weliweriya. This initiative supports the growth of Sri Lanka’s automotive industry and creates new employment opportunities.

DIMO Executive Director Rajeev Pandithage said: “We are excited to introduce the Tata Xenon Yodha, known for its durability, fuel efficiency, and comfort. This vehicle is ideally suited to meet the varied needs of Sri Lankan customers, effectively transitioning between personal and commercial use.”
The Tata Xenon Yodha features a 4x2 configuration and an impressive payload capacity of 1250 kg. It is powered by a 3.0-litre diesel engine, producing 85 hp and 250 Nm of torque. The vehicle’s design includes a sturdy chassis, a durable front overhang, and advanced safety features, ensuring both durability and safety. With a ground clearance of 210 mm and power steering, it is well-equipped for challenging terrains. It also comes with a comprehensive warranty of 18 months or 100,000 kilometres.
