HNB Grameen Finance Ltd recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Unimo Enterprises Ltd, fully owned subsidiary of United Motors Lanka PLC and sole distributor for a range of automotive brands ranging from Perodua compact cars from Malaysia, Z100 compact cars, to DFSK MPV’s Jinbei Vans and JMC commercial vehicles from China.
The agreement was signed between HNB Grameen Finance Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, B.M.D.C. Prabath, and United Motors Group Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Chanaka Yatawara at the Unimo Enterprises Head Office in Colombo 02.
Through this agreement, Unimo Customers will be offered a host of benefits including attractive leasing packages for Perodua, Z100, DFSK, Jinbei and JMC vehicles, lowest interest rates, personalised one-day service, doorstep assistance, minimal documentation and residual balance leases designed to suit customers’ budgets and incomes.
Subsequently, Unimo Enterprises will offer HNB Grameen Finance customers special discounts for selected vehicles (up to Rs.100, 000) and unmatched warranty periods.
Commenting on the momentous new partnership, Prabath said: “We are excited to be partnering with Unimo Enterprises to offer unparalleled discounts and an assortment of special benefits to our clients through this win-win venture. We are confident that through partnerships of this nature, we will be able to offer more flexible and innovative leasing solutions to all Sri Lankans and help them achieve their dream of owning their own set of wheels.”
Speaking at the MoU signing, United Motors Group CEO/Executive Director Chanaka Yatawara said: “HNB Grameen Finance Ltd is a trusted leasing company in Sri Lanka and we find their drive to offer customers a variety in terms of products and services truly inspiring. This important partnership is therefore an important step towards offering our valued customers convenient access to some of the best vehicles on the market.”
