Jaguar Land Rover migrates from global warranty to regional warranty in Sri Lanka

SML Frontier Automotive, sole agents of Jaguar and Land Rover (JLR) has announce the official migration of global warranty to regional warranty in compliance with the Asia Pacific Region.

All new Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles sold from 1 June onwards, which are not imported and sold by the authorised sole agent of JaguarLand Rover in Sri Lanka, SML Frontier Automotive will not benefit from Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) regional warranty.

All vehicles sold by unauthorised dealers will be covered byall the manufactures warranty terms and conditions for the region. While your warranty is as robust as your Jaguar Land Rover, it doesn’t cover all items, such as those subject to adjustment or replacement during normal service or maintenance operations. Therefore it won’t cover repair or replacement required as a direct result of normal wear and tear, the failure to properly maintain the vehicle in accordance with JLR maintenance schedules and service instructions. The failure to use JLR specified parts or fluids, damage that may be caused resulting from neglect, accident, or improper use or the unauthorised modifications of the vehicle or parts.

Customers can avail their manufacture warranty if any vehicle part needs repairing or replacing due to a manufacturing fault, the work will be carried out only by the authorised JLR repairer, SML Frontier Automotive using only genuine spare parts. If your vehicle is to be registered or used in another region further activations maybe required and exclusions may apply and warranty and conditions may be affected.
