LOLC General Insurance (LOLC GI), the fastest-growing Motor Insurer in the country has announced a strategic tie-up with Stafford Motor Company (Stafford Motors), the sole agent for Honda vehicles in Sri Lanka. The two companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently, to formalise their collaboration. 

Under the agreement, LOLC GI customers who have full insurance coverage for their Honda vehicles will be able to have collision repairs done at Stafford Motors without having to pay for brand-new body parts. LOLC GI will pay the full amount without any deductions, according to the agent’s recommendation. This ensures customers get access to high-quality and genuine body parts at no additional cost.

The collaboration between LOLC GI and Stafford Motors will also enable customers to access quality repairs and services without any hassle and delays to get their vehicles back. Additionally, LOLC GI customers are entitled to a 10% discount on vehicle grooming services and a 10% on labour, and a 12% on parts discount for general repairs and services. 

Speaking at the signing ceremony, officials from both companies expressed their enthusiasm about the partnership.  “We are thrilled to be partnering with Stafford Motors,” said LOLC GI Director/Chief Executive Officer Kithsiri Gunawardana. He also mentioned: “This partnership will undoubtedly be beneficial for the vehicle owners providing easy access to quality repair services and generous discounts. Honda customers can now enjoy a hassle-free experience when it comes to collision repairs and general maintenance services. We are confident that this partnership will be a success”.

Furthermore, Stafford Motors customers will be offered LOLC GI’s new Motor lifestyle loyalty program, ‘Honours’. The program offers valuable discounts and benefits to LOLC GI Motor Policyholders through the loyalty partner network – Channel 17 (CH17). Members can accumulate ‘Honours’ loyalty points while transacting with any of the merchants within the network and can donate the accumulated points to LOLC’s humanitarian programs.
