Lanka IOC Plc recently rewarded all its top performing lube distributors with a motor bike, along with trophy and certificate of merit based on their performance during 2019/20.

Following Lube Distributors were the proud recipient of the recognition: 1st Rank – Nathan Hardware – Jaffna; 2nd Rank – Hameed Transport – Trincomalee and 3rd Rank – Ismail Stores – Batticaloa.

The other distributors were also rewarded for their valued contribution with certificate of merit.

Lanka IOC Plc Managing Director Manoj Gupta in his keynote address advised all the channel partners to have a customer centric approach and ensure increasing the secondary sales.

He further urged all the distributors to come forward and explore possibility of marketing LIOC Bitumen and Petrochemicals.

Gupta, also elaborated on future expansion plans and investments in Sri Lanka. Lanka IOC is already gearing up to fast-track the completion of the upcoming 3000 Mt Grease plant to help start manufacturing the greases locally in Sri Lanka by end of 2020.

In order to achieve sustainable growth, company has been emphasising on the localisation of almost all lubricant grades which is in line with Government policy for import substitution. Besides, the company has undertaken various value engineering initiatives which are environment friendly. This also includes the automation for blending and filling operations. The objective of Lanka IOC is to save the precious foreign exchange and create more employment and new business opportunities for the SME segment.
