Mahindra unveils new visual identity and flagship SUVs at Colombo Motor Show

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., a global leader in the automotive industry, unveiled its SUV range and the all-new “Twin Peaks” visual identity at the Colombo Motor Show held recently. 

Representing a dynamic and adventurous spirit, the new logo reflects Mahindra’s focus on crafting premium SUVs that resonate with customers seeking both luxury and authenticity.

The SUVs showcased include the XUV700, Scorpio-N, and XUV 3XO, each representing cutting-edge technology and design. The XUV700, with its refined luxury and advanced technology, features a 200 PS TGDi petrol engine paired with an advanced AISIN 6-speed transmission and includes features such as ADAS Level 2, a panoramic sunroof, and a premium Sony 12 speaker 3D sound system. The Scorpio-N, renowned for its commanding presence and robust performance, is powered by a 175 PS mHawk diesel engine delivering an impressive 400 Nm of torque. It offers options for both 6-speed automatic transmissions, along with class leading 4XPLOR intelligent terrain management technology for exceptional off-road capability.

The XUV 3XO, a disruptor in the compact SUV category, features a 1.2L TCMPFI petrol engine generating 112 PS and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is paired an advanced AISIN 6-speed automatic transmission. The XUV 3XO is also equipped with innovative technologies, including ADAS Level 2, a Skyroof™, and twin HD screens, making it a standout choice for those seeking versatility and cutting-edge 

performance.

The launch and commencement of sales are contingent upon the Government’s timeline for lifting import restrictions. Pricing details will be announced closer to the launch, considering the duties, taxes, and exchange rates applicable at the time.

Reaffirming its commitment to its Small Commercial Vehicle portfolio, Mahindra emphasised that the City Pikup will continue to be on sale under its existing brand identity with the “Road Ahead” logo.
