The first sale at the Spectrum Store
A member of the Stafford Group, Spectrum Trading Company Ltd., the authorised distributor and sales dealer for several sought-after spare parts and automotive accessory brands in Sri Lanka, opened its first retail outlet in Panchikawatte on 24 October, under the patronage of Group Managing Director Dr. Kalinga Kaluperuma.
Located at No. 1, Jayantha Weerasekara Mawatha, Colombo 10, the outlet will serve as the company’s first retail store. The store will add to the network of over 300 dealers island-wide, while serving as authorised retailers for the portfolio of products and as a touch point for all kinds of services offered by the company. Spectrum Trading Company is the sole-authorised distributor for MOTUL Lubricants, TORCH Filters and Spark Plugs, SHAKO Riding Helmets and PUMA tyres in Sri Lanka. Spectrum is also the Authorised Sales Dealer for HONDA genuine spare parts for automobiles, power products, scooters and motorcycles.
Commenting on the opening, Kaluperuma said: “We are indeed happy to announce the opening of our first outlet. Our growing network of dealers and clients is a testament to the quality of service provided by the team at Spectrum and it’s a reflection of the trust that has been built over the years. We believe that this outlet will be the first of many others to act as effective touch points for our clients from around the country to get their needs attended to.
“It gives me great pleasure to note that the steady growth and expansion of the product portfolio is a reflection to the stable navigation of the company amidst the unprecedented COVID difficulties, macroeconomic pressures, and the subsequent change in the lifestyle of the people.
“The past growth momentum has rightfully elevated Spectrum to a level playing field in the markets it serves while symbolising its exceptional resilience, credibility and customer-centricity in the automobile domain along with its parent company – Stafford Group.”
The company, which incorporated in 2007, has been providing freight, clearing, licensed brokerage and logistics support across the country for the sister companies within the Stafford Group of Companies. The company has been continuously growing and expanding, building trust with institutions, and global and local brands alike. The unparalleled and unblemished relationship with Sri Lanka Customs, Sri Lanka Ports Authority and related institutions in the past years has made Spectrum a name of its own.
