AMW appreciates Piaggio sales, service and spares dealers

The Annual Dealer Convention of the authorised Piaggio sales, service and spare parts dealers of Associated Motorways Private Limited (AMW) was held recently at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo.

AMW Managing Director Samantha Rajapakshe, Director (Automotive) Shivantha De Zoysa, General Manager (Nissan) Yohan De Zoysa, General Manager (Piaggio) Suneth Sudasinghe, Sales Manager (Piaggio) Amitha Gamage, Administrative Manager (Piaggio) Achini Amarasekera, Manager – Marketing & Network Development (Piaggio) Harsha Rodrigo, Head of Exports (Piaggio India) Makarand Joshi and Head of Customer Care – International (Piaggio India), Anurudha Patankar participated in this occasion.

Every year, AMW holds such a dealer convention to appreciate and encourage their authorised Piaggio sales, service and spare parts dealers.  This year’s convention was held under the theme ‘Piaggio Street Race’.

AMW decided to hold this year’s dealer convention under such a theme because of the keen competitive spirit that prevails throughout the year among the network of over 500 authorised dealers to become the ‘Most Valuable Sales Dealer of the Year’.

In this convention, the best dealers were selected separately in sales, service and spare parts categories according to a methodology specific to the Piaggio section of AMW and the dealers selected for the first, second and third places were awarded with the prestigious Piaggio Trophy and cash prizes.  Other selected dealers were presented with Merit awards.

Isuru Motors of Moneragala was selected as the All-Island Best Sales Dealer for Piaggio three-wheelers for 2011/2012. Badulla – Badalkumbura, Nayana Motors was selected as the best Piaggio Spare Parts Sales Dealer. Sameera Motors of Madampe became the Best Service Dealer. AMW presented them with the Piaggio trophy and cash prizes.

Similarly the second and third place winners of all three categories were also presented with the Piaggio Trophy and cash rewards. At the same time the selected top 20 dealers of all three categories were presented with a certificate in appreciation of their valuable service rendered towards the success of Piaggio diesel three-wheelers in Sri Lanka.
