AMW, the leading Sri Lankan corporate, introduced its island wide roadside assistance program to assist motorists across the country with a reliable service during a roadside emergency. As the forerunner in the automotive sector in Sri Lanka, AMW introduced the innovative scheme, setting a new standard for service in the sector.

First introduced as part of its one year after sales service for the group’s Nissan, Suzuki and Maruti automobiles, the service has now taken on a new dimension with the incorporation of internationally benchmarked standards.

The new and improved service, introduced on 16 October 2014 within the Western Province, which caters to all automobile brands has now gone island wide covering all ‘A’ grade roads in Sri Lanka.

The service caters to Motorcars, SUVs and Dual-Purpose Vehicles. Among the many benefits is the 24 hour service availability, which is an invaluable service to the growing number of female drivers especially during nigh time as well as to those who may not be technically inclined owner drivers.

Among the many technical assistance features included Roadside Assistance services are spare-wheel changing, dead-battery service (jump start) and fuel replenishment in case of an empty tank, minor technical repairs, key cutting, and towing or flatbed carrier service.

Anticipating customer needs and introducing innovative products and services for over 65 years, AMW continues to occupy the top slot within the industry maintaining delivery quality and service excellence. AMW is also the importer and distributor for global automotive brands including BP/Castrol, Nissan, Suzuki, Yamaha, Piaggio, Goodyear tyres, Sonax car-care products from Germany, New Holland tractors to name a few.
