BMW Sri Lanka upgrades customer and service centre

Prestige Automobile (Pvt) Ltd, importer and sole agent for the best-selling premium German automobile brand - Bavarian Motor Works (BMW) AG in Sri Lanka has made a major investment to upgrade its award-winning showroom and technical care facility in Colombo to international standards aligned with the latest BMW corporate identity.

The facelift to the ultramodern showroom and state-of-the-art workshop comes hot on the heels of the launch of the BMW 3 Series in Colombo recently and is in keeping with the company’s vision to provide “the most comprehensive professional service and sophisticated BMW specified diagnostics through BMW-trained technicians and executives”.

The new face of Prestige Automobile includes extended areas to offer maximum display capacity for the entire array of BMW models across all three segments.

The customer areas now offer extra comfort and style with the latest in furnishings and lighting, a high-tech display system, a VIP lounge area and conveniences such as WiFi and refreshments.

As the dominant player in the ‘luxury’ car market in Sri Lanka, Prestige Automobile continues to add to its portfolio of influential and prestigious clients, with a strong following in the luxury, super luxury and grand luxury segments.

The leading automotive importer and dealer is also investing in upgrades to its service facility with the inclusion of additional fully equipped diagnostic and programming bays to meet current and future demand. The new addition is said to increase the facility’s capacity by as much as 60 per cent, ensuring better turnaround time.

Prestige Automobile will also add a new state-of-the-art warehouse to better facilitate the increase in demand for spare parts, a company spokesperson said.

In addition, all bodywork is performed according to international BMW quality standards by highly qualified BMW service experts”, a spokesperson for the company added.   

In keeping with the high global standards of BMW, clients are also offered a 24-hour mobile service to provide technical assistance across the country.

Prestige Automobile will also launch its new website (www.bmw.lk), which will provide an easily accessible reference of the model range, as well as technical specifications and service offers. The website will also allow BMW customers to make online bookings and connect with other BMW owners through social media.
