Nations Trust Bank American Express has introduced an exclusive car care plan for its cardmembers offering an interest free instalment payment plan at partner merchants including DIMO, AMW, KleenPark and Autodrome, in addition to a 24 hour assistance hotline for any vehicle-related inquiry. American Express cardmembers will also be able to avail themselves of all services offered to members of the Automobile Association Ceylon (AA), ensuring total car care and peace of mind at all times.
Speaking of the launch of the car care plan Gian de Rose – Senior Manager Cards Marketing for Nations Trust Bank, said: “We are always looking for innovative ways to facilitate our cardmembers, offering them lifestyle enhancing benefits and privileges, and giving them financial freedom and convenience.
“Thus we are delighted to introduce this facility with an extensive range of partner merchants that include vehicle agents, in car entertainment (ICE), detailing and other automobile related specialist houses for tyres, batteries and paint. We are also very pleased to partner with the Automobile Association Ceylon, an establishment which has served the country since 1904 and have a proven track record of providing their members with a host of automobile services which we are now pleased to be able to extend to our cardmembers,” de Rose added.
Cardmembers will be able to enjoy an exclusive special rate with AA Ceylon, enabling them to benefit from the following services including vehicle towing, savings on insurance and the issue of international driving permits.
“In addition details on vehicle care will be just a phone call away for our cardmembers. Partner merchants include Dimo Lanka, Toyota Lanka, AMW, KIA Motors Lanka and United Motors. Wheel and tyre partners are U&H Tyres, S.K Munasinghe and Autodrome, batteries Brown & Company for Excide batteries, body repair and painting partners are Arabian Motors and Mr. Paint, and partners in detailing and ICE are Care Point, Pittstop, Kleen Park and Bara Car Stereos,” continued De Rose.
“We will also be offering 0% interest instalment plans ensuring that cardmembers have the freedom to opt for the best possible care for their vehicles.”
To opt for an interest free instalment payment all cardmembers have to do is simply call the American Express call centre to convert their transaction into an installment plan at 0% interest at no additional charge. This will allow cardmembers to pay just the original transaction amount divided by the tenure, with no interest or charges included. American Express cardmembers will also be entitled to special privileges and savings offered by partner merchants, whenever they use their card.
