DIMO organises ‘Star Experience’ in the City of Gems

‘Star Experience,’ where Mercedes- Benz enthusiasts meet was held in Ratnapura, ‘the City of Gems,’ attracting a large number of participants recently.

This was the sixth Star Experience event organised with previous events being held at Kandy, Polonnaruwa, Galle, etc. The main objective of this event series is to introduce the latest Mercedes-Benz range and to create awareness about ‘DIMO Premier’, the certified pre-owned Mercedes-Benz vehicles from DIMO.

More than 120 customers, Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts and their spouses attended the event, which was held at Silver Ray Hotel, Pelmadulla. These included existing Mercedes-Benz owners, potential Mercedes-Benz owners and key opinion leaders in the region.

The Mercedes-Benz GLA was displayed for the first time to customers at this event. The 2014 new C-Class, the 2014 new E-Class, the new CLA 4-door coupe, the new S-Class, the new 2015 Jeep Cherokee and the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited were also on display at the event.

DIMO took the opportunity to introduce the latest Mercedes-Benz Citan (light van/mini MPV) during the event as well. The Mercedes-Benz Citan provides passengers with urban luxury coupled with renowned Mercedes-Benz safety features and ultimate performance. The Citan is an ideal urban transporter that provides economy, safety and luxury.

The invitees were made aware of the advantages of buying a Mercedes-Benz from DIMO, and about the facilities available at ‘DIMO 800’ – Mercedes-Benz Center. Moreover, DIMO showcased a range of Mercedes-Benz accessories at the event, providing Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts an opportunity to purchase them and enhance their association with the three-pointed star.

DIMO was represented by Ranjith Pandithage (Chairman/Managing Director, DIMO), Gahanath Pandithage (CEO, DIMO), Suresh Gooneratne (Director, DIMO), Sarath Algama (Director, DIMO), Tharanga Gunawardena (Head of Mercedes-Benz Service), Rajeev Pandithage (Head of Mercedes-Benz Passenger Sales and Parts) and Dine-sh Gunaratne (Manager of Mercedes-Benz Passenger Sales). The event was organised by Team Mercedes-Benz along with the DIMO Kuruvita Branch.
