Douglas & Sons Ltd (DSL) showcased yet another amazing grand show of its kind, the ‘GT Awards Night 2012’.
for its tyre dealers at Hotel Grand Hyatt, in the fascinating city of Dubai on 19 May, amidst an audience of high profile dignitaries including the Ambassador for Sri Lanka in Dubai, Sarath Wijesinghe, who graced the occasion as Chief Guest and Abdul Rahim who was present as the Guest of Honour.
Addressing the audience, Chairman Saroj Perera said, “We are gathered here to celebrate the success of our achievements during the past year.” Perera speaking further said that DSL/ GT family together has made GT tyres a frontrunner in the imported tyre segment in Sri Lanka for 16 consecutive years and commended the dealers for their loyalty and commitment towards GT, while also acknowledging the unstinted support of DSL marketing team for the continuous support through the years.
A total of 250 participants some with their families were flown to Dubai on an all expenses paid tour that lasted for four days. The tour from beginning to end was packed with fun and entertainment and the adventurous Desert Safari was an unforgettable experience enjoyed by all. Shopping in Dubai and the dinner on board a cruise were the most anticipated activities, which was also an exciting firsthand experience for many.
Stamping its success year after year, DSL takes pride in its innovative move in providing a pollution free environment, offering Sri Lankan motorist an eco friendly ‘Green Tyre’ with higher fuel efficiency in the form of GT Champiro Eco, the highest selling green tyre in Sri Lanka.
