DSL launches GT Radial SAVERO SUV

Douglas & Sons Ltd. (DSL), the leading entity in auto parts in Sri Lanka launched GT SAVERO SUV, GT Radial’s high performance SUV tyre. The event was held at the Earls Court – Cinnamon Lakeside, Colombo on Wednesday 7 October. 

The captivating event saw the participation of the Principals of PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk – Indonesia and the higher management and sales team of DSL. DSL Group of Companies Chairman Saroj Perera and PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk – Indonesia Executive Vice President Simon Hui attended the event along with representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and the top 100 dealers. Product Marketing & Business Development Deputy General Manager Sean Chiang and PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk – Indonesia Assistant Manager – Sales (Export) Harris Pasha presented the features and the benefits of the new tyre.

As per the experts, The SAVERO SUV tyre is developed to meet the needs of the drivers who seek smooth and excellent handling performance with suspension comfort, low rolling noise and limited rolling resistance, which ultimately provides a spectacular mileage capacity. On the safety features, the tyre is designed in a way to give the best control towards wet handling while braking and specially tuned to satisfy the demands of modern SUVs.

The four wide longitudinal grooves and specially designed ribs provide superior wet performance by rapid drainage and reduced aquaplaning. Geometrically optimised sips and solid shoulder blocks provide low road rolling noise, with further improved wet grip performance.
