DSL Red Carpet 2015: A glamour-filled awards night

Douglas and Sons Ltd. (DSL) held its annual awards ceremony of the Auto Parts division, named DSL Red Carpet 2015 on 28 February at Eagles’ Lakeside, Attidiya. The event was graced by more than 1,000 participants representing the company’s valued dealers and foreign principles from countries such as Japan, India, Thailand, Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore and China.
Having held this event in the previous years in countries such as Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore, 2015 marked the first time in five years that DSL ventured to hold this award ceremony in Sri Lanka. During the award show, apart from district best dealers and best performers in individual product brands, the island wide top 24 dealers were appreciated and awarded with certificates and handsome trophies. All winners had been selected based on their sales performance during last year.
Conducted under the theme ‘Around the World’, the awards ceremony provided a night of glamour and camaraderie for the participants. The evening was filled with glamorous felicitations for the winners blended with a long line of song and dance, specially choreographed to match the theme of the event and performed by famed artistes.
