Exide awarded Frost & Sullivan 2010 Market Leadership Award in industrial battery segment

Exide Industries Ltd. was recently honoured with the 2010 Market Leadership Award in the Indian Industrial Battery Segment by Frost & Sullivan, the global consultancy major.

The award was presented to Exide Industries Limited at the glittering ‘India Back-Up Power Industry Excellence Awards’ ceremony held recently at Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon.

Exide Industries was awarded for "demonstrating outstanding achievement in areas such as improving market reach, technological innovations, customer service, strategic product development, and building strategies to sustain growth amidst fierce competition."

The Frost & Sullivan Award for Market Share Leadership is presented to the company that has demonstrated excellence in capturing the highest market share within its industry. The Award recognises the company’s leadership position within the industry in terms of revenues or units, as specified.
