Exide powers SLADA Championship 2015

Exide, Sri Lanka’s #1 battery, has joined the Sri Lanka Autosports Drivers’ Association (SLADA) as its Official Battery Partner for 2015. SLADA’s racing calendar this year consists of seven much-looked-forward to races: Foxhill Supercross, Sigiriya Supercross, Cavalry Supercross, Gunners’ Supercross, Gajaba Supercross, Champion Supercross and Rotherham Katukurunda Supercross. In addition to this, Exide also came forward to sponsor the Foxhill Supercross, for the sixth consecutive year. “Team Exide performed exceptionally well last year. This year too, our team is strong and capable, and we are extremely confident that they will be ‘fully loaded’ and power ahead, throughout the full racing calendar this year,” said Ajith De Silva, Deputy General Manager – Battery, Brown & Company PLC. For 2015, Team Exide consists of four top drivers and two riders: Aravinda Premadasa, Tyronne Henadawitharana, Chaminda Weerasuriya, K. Parameswaran, Shehan Adhikari and Lahiru Jeewantha.
