This promotion was conducted to provide lifestyle-oriented gifts to Lucas customers to improve the relationship with the brand. The winners were drawn out from a series of raffle draws and the raffle draw was conducted by issuing coupons to end customers through the extensive Lucas dealer network all-island. The raffle draws took place under the supervision of the Western Province Revenue Department.
Klevenberg offered valuable lifestyle-oriented prizes each month to its customers. The gifts were as follows: First prize – 42inch LED 3D TV plus a Boom Box Sound System, second prize - 200 litre refrigerator and kitchen full of appliances, third prize - 2500W power generator and 10 CFL bulbs, fourth prize – 14 megapixel digital camera and a rechargeable battery pack and fifth prize - vacuum cleaner and an electric steam mop.
The Lucas dealer network played a pivotal role in this promotion and they too were rewarded for their loyalty. Under the consumer category, KPL drew the winners during each month of sales and the dealer category winners were drawn in February 2014 in lieu of total sales during the promotion.
The dealer category too drew prize winners and the gifts were as follows: First prize – 42 inch LED 3D TV, second prize - 200 litre refrigerator, third prize - 2500w generator, fourth prize - 14 megapixel digital camera and fifth prize -vacuum cleaner.
The gift distribution ceremony was held on 10 April 2014 at ‘Park Premier’ Excel World, Colombo 10 under the patronage of - Klevenberg Ltd./Browns Real Estate Senior Vice President Agriculture/Battery and New Business, Director/CEO and BG Air Services/Associated Battery Manufacturers (Ceylon) Ltd. Director Panduka Weerasingha.
