Goodyear launches Assurance DuraPlus in Sri Lanka

Associated Motorways Ltd., the pre-eminent automobile conglomerate in Sri Lanka, has announced the arrival of the latest tyre from global manufacturer Goodyear. To be available for Sri Lanka customers very soon, the new product – Assurance DuraPlus is engineered to go a distance of up to 100,000 kilometres.

Reinforced with DuPont Kevlar for added protection, the new tyre is designed for small and medium passenger vehicles and comes with an enhanced version of Goodyear’s patented Tredlife Technology. An ideal product for value-conscious customers, the Assurance DuraPlus, extends product life with its reinforced Kevlar coating which provides added protection against damage and wear and tear. 

“Goodyear’s proprietary technology TredLife comprises of three key elements: an advanced carbon-based tread compound with higher carbon for increased resistance to road wear, a larger tread width design, which puts more rubber in contact with the road, and maximised rubber volume combined with a deep tread depth and is engineered to provide true value,” Hung Le, General Manager of Export Markets, Asia Pacific.

In terms of sizing, the new tyre will be available in 14” to 15” rim diameters, and in multiple sizes for a wide range of small- to mid-sized passenger vehicles.
