Harcourts appoints two Directors

• Chairman says delegation is the essence of successful management

Harcourts  (Pvt)  Ltd., announced that it has strengthened its board with the appointment of Bandula Sirimanne a Graduate in Business Management and a product of  D S Senanayake College Colombo 8, who  joined   Harcourts  team  in  1990  as Medical  Delegate and came up the ladder due to his  honesty, loyalty  and dedication towards his work, has  been  appointed  as  the  new  Director for  Marketing, to  look into all aspects of the company’s marketing  functions, with his invaluable knowledge and experience.

In addition, Ivor Fernando, a product of St. Benedicts’ College, Kotahena and a Graduate in Finance and a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with over twenty five years of accounting  experience Locally  and internationally; while also having held senior management positions in a number of companies with a broad range of responsibilities, has been appointed  as  the  Managing  Director  of  Harcourts  Pharmacy  (Pvt)  Ltd. Previously, Fernando held the position of Consultant at Harcourts Group where he was responsible for exploration activities, strategic planning, business development and management of the company.

Harcourts stated that they are very pleased to have Bandula Sirimanne and Ivor Fernando joining the Harcourts Group Board as they have been managing the company’s exploration team for the past year and have both made an extremely positive contribution to the company to have received these elevations.
