IDEAL Chery Automobiles Ltd., a member of IDEAL, a giant in the automobile sector and sole distributor in Sri Lanka for Chery, China’s largest indigenous car manufacturer, launched a host of Chery Value Added Services recently.
IDEAL Chery Chief Operating Officer Chamath Tennekoon explained the value added service innovations, launched under the auspices of ‘Service and Spare Parts Availability to All’.
The concept of having spare parts delivered to the customer’s doorstep spawned the launch of a unique spare parts delivery feature, called ‘Ape Dorin Obey Dorata’ – delivery of Chery spare parts to any location in the island (with a valid delivery address) within 24 hours. This unique feature has won the praise of many a customer and garage owner alike.
IDEAL Chery also very recently launched a revolutionary new piece of software in the form of a mobile phone application (App), called IDEAL Assist to help Chery customers book service and repair appointments and request roadside assistance via the mobile phone without actually having to make a phone call.
A groundbreaking feature of the IDEAL Assist App is a Google Map showing the location of the vehicle requiring road-side assistance.
IDEAL Assist is downloadable to all Chery owners via IDEAL Chery’s website, www.idealchery.lk or can be installed by the service advisor at the central workshop and spare parts distribution facility at #75, Kandawala Road, Ratmalana. The service is currently available in conjunction with the Chery central workshop in Ratmalana and will soon be available from IDEAL Choice service centres island-wide.
Providing quality roadside assistance is an invaluable customer service tool. Customer service is the corner stone of IDEAL Chery’s brand strategy. It was therefore fitting that IDEAL Chery recently launched a custom branded Chery YOYO Mini Van in the dedicated role of a Roadside Assistance Vehicle. This vehicle is equipped with a comprehensive set of tools to deal with any roadside contingency and can speedily deploy a team of up to four technical persons on site.
