Kumho recognised for CO2 reductions

Kumho Tires has gained official recognition for reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 13,339 tons over the past five years.  This reduction has been achieved through upgrading production facilities and adopting renewable energies.

Kumho’s CO2 reduction plan was launched in 2005 by Kemco (Korea Energy Management Corporation) in 2005 and was devised in response to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.



Kumho is not only developing eco-friendly products but also giving environmental concerns in the manufacturing process. It will act as a forerunner for conservation as well as participate in the green growth policies across the world.
