Land Rover, the iconic British brand recently partnered with Amazing Adventures Lanka to host the Land Rover #Readytodiscover Amazing Colombo Romp. Held on 24 May, the event was part treasure hunt, part Amazing Race and part puzzle.

A total of 63 teams participated in the fun-filled day of activities and challenges, which took place in different locations across Colombo. Participants started off with a dance fitness Zumba session, energising themselves for the day’s activities. From discovering hidden treasures in the city such as a renowned French street artist’s paintings in Slave Island, to revisiting familiar locations in Pettah such as Old Town Hall and the historic Wolvendaal Church, the teams explored the city and competed against one another in spirited camaraderie.

The Land Rover challenge saw the teams taking part in an ultimate drive across Colombo on the dynamic Land Rover Evoque and the recently launched Discovery Sport. Participants explored Colombo with Sri Lanka’s first segway style tours which were conducted by Amazing Rides, they also carted one another on traditional nattami carts and test drove Land Rovers as part of the active day out.
