Land Rover has joined forces with the Sri Lanka Army – Commando Regiment to sponsor the Commando 4x4 Expedition in August.
Land Rover’s well-considered partnerships and sponsorships resonate with consumers who have come to regard the brand as a beacon of a boundary-pushing lifestyle.
Land rover is a name synonymous with adventure, exploration and luxury. At ease in the great outdoors, distinguished in the city, Land Rover offers class-leading abilities across all of its models. In rainforests, deserts, and other places no ordinary vehicles could reach, you will find a Land Rover. The moment you venture off the tarmac is the moment you realise the incredible potential of your Land Rover.
The Commando’s 4x4 Expedition is a unique concept, pitting some of the very best professional and amateur teams in Sri Lanka on extreme and challenging tactical courses during the 5-day journey. The expedition will traverse through some of the most remote and beautiful terrains in our country, through unchartered new roads, amazing scenery and glorious views that will be appreciated by young and old alike.
“This fantastic concept has brought together three automotive brands in off road vehicles, in a community known for its enthusiasm and love of adventure. We at Land Rover are happy to join with Nissan and Ford in supporting this expedition and bringing the 4x4 community closer together in the love of automobiles and wilderness. We are more than proud to take you on this journey along with the Commando regiment of Sri Lanka,” said Sheran Fernando, Managing Director, SML Frontier Automotive.
