LAUGFS Eco Sri unveils fleet of modern mobile units

LAUGFS Eco Sri recently procured a fleet of custom made, state-of-the-art mobile units to strengthen its operations and conduct efficient mobile Vehicle Emission Tests in rural regions.

The brand new Toyota Dyna fleet of mobile units are custom made to facilitate the conducting of efficient mobile Vehicle Emission Tests (VET) in any part of Sri Lanka. All 11 units are equipped with state of the art technology including testing equipment and GPRS communication systems for efficient fleet tracking and location purposes. The fleet was unveiled at a ceremony held at LAUGFS Eco Sri Bellanthota Vehicle Emission Testing center where Toyota Lanka Managing Director Shungo Yoshioka handed over the token key to LAUGFS Holdings Group Managing Director U.K. Thilak De Silva. Other distinguished invitees at the event included Rear Admiral (RTD) Damayantha Dharmasiriwardne, CEO of LAUGFS Eco Sri and General Manager – Sales Eshan Coorey, COO of Toyota Lanka Manohara Athukorala. LAUGFS Eco Sri, a subsidiary of the diversified conglomerate LAUGFS Holdings, is the pioneer in Vehicle Emission Testing in Sri Lanka and is an appointed service provider of the government initiated Vehicle Emission Testing program launched in 2008.
