LAUGFS launches ARC Centre for vehicle care

• Sri Lanka’s first fully-automated automotive testing facility

 LAUGFS Solutions recently unveiled the ARC Centre, an ultra-modern, state-of-the-art advanced automotive testing and repair centre, in the highly-populated Dehiwala area on Attidiya Road. The centre was ceremonially declared open by LAUGFS Chairman W.K.H. Wegapitya and Group Managing Director Thilak De Silva.

The ARC Centre is geared to provide vehicle fitness testing, maintenance services, repairs and other value-added services under one roof. With a team of highly trained, experienced and qualified engineers and technical staff, it provides reliable vehicle care with a comprehensive portfolio of services for today’s busy motorists.

“With the ARC Centre we are introducing the concept of a one-stop-shop for all vehicle care services, from testing to maintenance and repairing, for the first time in Sri Lanka. ARC Centre’s vertical test lane, a first in Sri Lanka, offers a wide range of services including slide slip-wheel alignment, break testing, emission testing, head light testing, noise testing, suspension testing, axel play and visual inspections. The centre is well geared and equipped to attend to all vehicular diagnostic services and testing, with the added convenience of providing all required repairs through its high-tech repair centre located within the same premises. Customers can purchase automobile spare parts for a wide range and make of vehicles at the ARC Centre’s spare parts shop which sells genuine vehicle spare parts and accessories.

Moreover, the ARC Centre is capable of providing internationally recognized vehicle fitness tests for any class of motor vehicles. Backed by its technology partner Snap NT Italy, ARC Centre uses advanced European technology to carry out vehicle fitness tests. ARC Centre is well equipped to issue Vehicle Roadworthy Test certificates following required criteria, enabling vehicle sellers and buyers alike to obtain a trustworthy assurance of the vehicle’s conditions. In addition, the Centre provides Taxi Meter check and calibration services.
