Mobil Powers Colombo Bike Week 2016

Mobil-Colombo-Bike-WeekMobil Lubricants Sri Lanka, the image leader of motorcycle lubricants, came forward yet again as the official lubricant partner for the Colombo Bike Week 2016. The event played host to a number of motorcycle enthusiasts who toured the island for 9 days from the 12to 20 March  and covered places of tourists’interestswhile using the most exciting biking roads for the ride. 

Mobil Sri Lanka  Head of Marketing  Dilan Seneviratne announced that “Mobil is proud to partner the Colombo Bike Week 2016 for the second consecutive year. At Mobil, racing is our passion, whether it is motorcars or motorcycles and therefore this sponsorship reflects our brand essence, commitment towards the sport and encapsulates what Mobil represents.” He also added that this event provided an excellent opportunity to showcase Sri Lanka as a great riding destination and an exquisite tourism hotspot that offers an abundance of adventure, discovery and fun. 

The ride commenced in Waskaduwa and covered the towns ofHikkaduwa, Galle, Embilipitiya, Ella, NuwaraEliya, Kandy, Sigiriya, Puttalam, Wennappuwa and Colombo. The Colombo Bike Week 2016 was an initiative of Buzzword Events Malaysia in partnership with Motor Adventure Sports Sri Lanka and endorsed by the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotions Bureau.
