New Perkins genuine spare parts store opens at Panchikawatta

Perkins has been a name synonymous with diesel engines in Sri Lanka for over a century and is a brand name that has won the confidence of the agricultural, construction and industrial sectors of the country.

In the agricultural field, Perkins is a vital component in tractors, in the industrial sector, it is a reliable partner in engines and in the construction and corporate sectors, it plays an important role in being the prime mover in generators.

With a view to affording easier and more convenient access to its customers, Perkins in association with its local distributor, Macsa (Pvt) Ltd., recently opened a new retail facility in the heart of Colombo’s spare parts area, Panchikawatta.

Additionally, it also provides an opportunity to customers to be exposed to genuine Perkins spares and helps nullify negative impacts of spurious parts on performance of these engines, causing a great loss to the customer.  

The retail facility was designed following Perkins distributor guidelines with Perkins corporate colours of blue and white dominating the colour scheme. A 40” LCD TV monitor displays Perkins products and gives customers greater product knowledge.
