AMW, as the leading conglomerate in the industry showcased its range of renowned automobile brands and products at the Colombo Motor Show over the weekend, unveiling new models as well as expanding its display. Among the models unveiled were the Yamaha FZ V 2.0 with Blue Core technology and the cutting-edge Yamaha Ray Z, as well as the all new Suzuki Ciaz sedan and, for the first time in Sri Lanka – the Nissan Leaf electric car. Making its debut in Sri Lanka was the Indian-manufactured Duster from French automobile brand Renault.
Represented at the motor show, among AMW’s diverse brand portfolio were the Yamaha ALPHA, Yamaha YBR 110 from its motorcycle stable and the Yamaha Waverunner and Outboard motors from its aquatic motorsports and leisure unit. The recently introduced, Nissan X-TRAIL and TEANA, as well as the all-new Nissan Patrol Y62 and the iconic 370Z were also on display. The line-up also included the Ertiga, Alto, Stingray, SX4 and Grand Vitara.
In addition, car care brand SONAX, EPIC automobile batteries and Goodyear tyres were also represented.
The Colombo Motor Show 2015 which opened on 8 May closed on 10 May at the BMICH. The annual event showcased local and international manufacturers, agents and distributors of motor vehicles and related products to a growing Sri Lankan audience. It is most looked-forward to event in the motoring calendar in Sri Lanka.
