Pickme launches vintage taxis for Independence Day

PickMe, the mobile taxi hailing service provider, conducted a unique promotion on Independence Day when it partnered the Vintage Car Owners Club Sri Lanka to give the exceptional experience of riding in vehicles of yesteryear. The start point was Independence Square in Torrington and many were seen taking rides on these vintage cars.

Sri Lanka’s very own start-up, ‘PickMe’ is a software solution developed on the Android, iOS and Windows platforms using GPS satellite and GIS technology, customised to meet the needs of the local taxi traveller.
