The high-octane combination of Steel Silencerz, one of India’s best stunt groups, and the power-packed Bajaj Pulsar will once again be on show when the ‘Derana-Pulsar Power Stunt Challenge’ rocks cities across Sri Lanka next week.
The Indian Steel Silencerz, who entertained hundreds of thousands of Sri Lankan fans with their mesmerising stunts on Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles last year, will bring more glamour this year when they perform with Lankan stunt riders at several locations across the island during the country’s biggest stunt riding extravaganza.
They will be in action on Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles which are specially made for the stunt show.
The Indian stuntmen will arrive in Colombo on 14 May and will get down to business straightaway. During the 15-day tour, they will select the best Lankan stunt rider. Anyone who rides a Pulsar is welcome to take part in selections, which will be held in Colombo on 15 and 16 May. The best of them will get the opportunity to stun the crowds along with Steel Silencerz - which comprises four professional freestyle stunt riders - while learning the new tricks and techniques from the best.
The Steel Silencerz was the host team of ‘India’s Got Talent 4’ and a crowd-puller at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Kabbadi World Cup. The team includes both the winner and finalist of the MTV Bajaj Pulsar StuntMania Season 3 and is set to thrill Lankan stunt-lovers with some heart-stopping performances including hair-raising freestyle jumps and mid-air stunts.
The series of stunt shows, organised by David Pieris Motor Company Ltd., will commence in Colombo, followed by performances in Puttlam, Kandy, Anuradhapura, Vavuniya, Tincomalee, Badulla, Ratnapura and Matara, before returning to Colombo for the final showdown to be held at the Nelum Pokuna premises at the end of May.
The local stuntmen can send in their entries before 14 May and applications can be downloaded from Pulsar Power Facebook page, www.tvderana.lk or collected from DPMC regional offices island-wide.
Local stunt riders can perform at each location and the best of them will be selected by Steel Silencerz at the grand finale.TV Derana and FM Derana will provide a comprehensive coverage throughout the series of stunt shows.
