Ford Motor Company awarded Future Automobiles Ltd., a subsidiary of Softlogic Holdings, with the prestigious Golden Shovel Award in recognition of its high-class service centre launched last year. The award was granted as a result of Future Automobiles’ focus on ensuring the entire service experience in Sri Lanka is consistent with Ford’s global standards; from state-of-the-art equipment and Ford’s Extended Service Plans to genuine Ford spare parts and world-class staff.

The state-of-the-art Ford 3S dealership facility in Colombo is located at Denzil Kobbekaduwa Mawatha, Battaramulla, and houses showroom, sales and service under one roof. The 6,000-square-foot facility includes a 12-vehicle showroom, and 14-vehicle service capacity to meet the full-range of customer needs. The full-service facility is built with the customer in mind and signifies the company’s enhanced focus on the growing Sri Lankan market. Every aspect of the facility has been designed to help provide an unmatched customer and ownership experience, with convenience, efficiency and comfort.

Speaking about this recent accolade, Future Automobiles Ltd. CEO Chamath Tennekoon said, “As a pioneer in the automobile industry, Ford together with Future Automobiles has committed to serve the expanding customer base in Sri Lanka. The introduction of the advanced Ford 3S dealership facility was yet another example of the continuous dedication and commitment we bestow towards our loyal customer base.”

He further added, “As we gear for an interesting phase of growth, long term customer satisfaction and owner loyalty are key essentials we focus on. The opening of this modern facility will help strengthen Ford’s presence in the Sri Lankan market as the company continues with its product-led transformation by launching more global Ford vehicles and focusing on providing an unmatched after-sales experience.”

He further revealed, “Ford customers can look forward to another special introduction through the launch of the ‘After Sales Loyalty Card Program’ next month offering countless discounts on parts and services.”

Adding another chapter in servicing excellence, Future Automobiles Ltd. has committed to high spare parts availability and a 14-day turnaround on Special Order Parts coupled with a year-end Free Service Campaign for all Ford customers commencing from November.

Ford entered the market in 2010. Today, Ford Sri Lanka has six nameplates available, with the latest addition being the new Everest. The Ford showroom in Sri Lanka currently includes the Fiesta, Figo and Focus passenger cars, Kuga, EcoSport and Everest SUVs, and the Ranger pickup truck.
