Wheel Base International Ltd., a mobility solution service provider, commenced operations with the vision of providing total mobility solutions for individuals and institutions. On 5 July, it launched the Wheel Base Online Store for automotive products, for the first time in Sri Lanka, at the New Cavalry Officers’ Mess, Rock House Camp, Modara.
Business partners who have joined this venture include CEAT for tyres, Exide for batteries and Wurth Lanka for automotive chemicals, fasteners, hand tools etc.
The online store will not be just another website. Purchasing goods through the store will make people’s lives easier, with goods delivered to the doorstep. Furthermore, it will provide services such as fixing tyres and batteries to a vehicle at any given place at any time.
Wheel Base will also be actively partaking in many fields related to automotive industry, i.e. promoting a mobile garage, particularly at car races, for repairing and inspecting the vehicles, with body wash facilities, which will be full of automotive accessories, lubricants, tyres, batteries so on, to meet with riders’ requirements.
Clients can also benefit the ‘On the Spot Repair’ service through the website, which was started in 2010 for the first time in Sri Lanka, and now has a clientele of 2,000 members. In addition to the above, the ‘Drink and Drive’ facility will present a novel concept to the public. Wheel Base International is also eyeing new business partnerships with leading importers of vehicles in the near future.
