World Volkswagen Day celebrations at Taj

The Volkswagen Beetle Owners Club together with Taj Samudra Colombo celebrated World Volkswagen Day, the unique motoring marvel at the North Lawn of Taj Samudra on Sunday, 21 June.

As in previous years VWs of all ages and colours participated in this year’s celebrations. 100 classic cars with EY, EL, EN series to brand new Volkswagen cars – New Beetle, Tiguan, Passat, Vento, Polo GT were displayed at the North Lawn of Taj Samudra, Colombo.

This year’s flag off was carried out by Taj Samudra Colombo Area Director Sri Lanka and Maldives and General Manager Sarabjeet Singh and German Ambassador Dr. Juergen Morhard.
