Würth Lanka Ltd., the fully-owned subsidiary of Würth AG, Germany, recently announced the addition of the state-of-the-art ‘Fusion’ wiper blades to its existing range of OEM and standard wiper range. Fusion is a hybrid range of wiper blades incorporating the latest developments in wiper blade technology including aero dynamic and stylishly designed beam style wiper with distributed pressure points of a conventional structure and high quality plastic frame structure making it stronger and sturdier leading to longer life and consistently clearer vision for the driver and occupants.  The hybrid wiper range has been incorporated into most new Korean, Japanese and European vehicles. “Würth Fusion wiper blades are the best in its class due to the unbeatable value features. High quality rubber for all weather, with graphite coating is unique in the market. Stainless steel spline, gives you the longest corrosion protection compared to any wipers in the market,” said Würth Lanka Managing Director Rohan Amirthiah. “High quality all weather rubber with graphite coating is unique in the market and the Fusion wiper blades compared to any other wiper blade in the market,” he added. Würth wipers come with a unique installation system, where the benefits of aero-dynamics are applied to get a clean and efficient wiping experience with true long term benefits, and hence it is essential to follow proper installation practices and pre-testing. The Würth installation procedure for wiper blades involves specific tests to check the condition of the windscreen, wiper arms, motor function, screen cleaner jets, etc., ensuring that the newly-fitted wipers will perform better and longer. Most often vehicle owners/drivers overlook to check the condition of the windscreen wipers on a timely and regular basis and assume that they can perform efficiently without the need for a change. Wipers are made of metal, plastic and rubber and are constantly exposed to the elements such as rain, sun, salt, acids and abrasions. Worn out or malfunctioning wiper blades pose a serious threat to vehicle occupants as well as road users especially in rainy weather conditions, and hence need to be given its due attention and care on a regular basis.
