Wurth, marking another milestone, came forward to sponsor Fox Hill Supercross 2013. Among many other sponsors, Wurth will be a significant partner at the event organised by the Sri Lanka Military Academy, Diyatalawa.
“Wurth has been supporting motor sports in Sri Lanka for many years in many ways and this year, Wurth came forward to support the Fox Hill Supercross for the first time,” said Prasanna Mayadunne, Sales Manager – Colombo Region.

Wurth is a nine billion euro company and is one of the largest international trading companies with more than 400 subsidiaries in 83 countries. “Wurth products are sold to automotive aftermarkets, construction and maintenance industries ranging from tools, performance chemicals, adhesives, fasteners and much more,” he stated.
Wurth Lanka was established in Sri Lanka in 1998 with one employee, and currently employs 65 permanent employees. During the last 12 years, Wurth has become a top quality supplier in the markets it operates in such as the automotive aftermarkets, construction and maintenance and metal trade. In the future, cargo, wood, and industrial sectors will be explored as a strategy for growth.
Wurth worldwide actively supports motor sports of all kinds, starting from Formula 1, world rally championships, 4x4 extreme events and Nascar USA. In Sri Lanka, Wurth has been associated with the Ceylon Motor Sports Club and other motor racing clubs to promote motor racing.
Wurth has confirmed sponsoring the famous Mahagastota Hill climb event with Ceylon Motor Sports club which will take place on 7 April.
